Hello Ian,

I’m looking for a Web Analytics Manager with 1-3 years experience using Web Analytics tools.

Preferably WebTrends and Omniture with examples of analytics work (reports, charts, etc).

Do you know anyone with this background?

Paying 100K

Hi Kevin,

My apologies for the delayed reply. Strangely enough, I am also looking to hire an Analytics Manager with the same experience level.

If you want, feel free to email me at first initial+last name (one word) at gmail. Let me know the location. We have been flooded with qualified applicants, and I would be glad to pass along potential candidates.

Thanks,
Ian

          Ian,
Maybe your tried ‘ileong’ as your Twitter id first – that is me. Anyhow interesting to note that we have the same name, and more interestingly we are in a related field – I do marketing and interactive stuff so there is common ground there.
‘Leong’ – are your parents from Malaysia or Singapore? I am in California at the moment.
That is not my email address in the form field – do a direct message to me on Twitter if you like, regards,
Ian

Haha what a coincidence! Sorry it took a while to approve your comment, but filtering through the spam is a nightmare.

My dad is from Malaysia and my mom is from Taiwan. Excellent obversation on your part LOL.

I will DM you on Twitter with my email. We should collaborate on dominating first page search results for queries on our name!

Regards,
Ian

Costa Rica SEO,

Thanks for reading and posting a comment. Traffic projections based on historical performance is something I had planned to post in the third part of this series. Sorry for the delayed reply - your comment got lost in all the spam posts. Shoot a note to my 'first initial'+'last name' at gmail. No space or + between first and last initials.

One of the first things you should do is to run the search impression report. It will give you an idea of your share of voice. For example, if you have 50% impression share, you know you will be able to roughly double your clicks with your current campaign setup. However, it's extremely important to look at post-click activity. More often than not it's better to optimize your conversion rates before you increase your PPC spend. It's possible to double or triple your conversions with the same level of spend.

OK, so I can't help but feel partially responsible for his lackluster performances in the first two rounds of the tournament. Should have waited until after their run this year before posting anything. I have no doubt he will play to his capabilities the rest of the way.
